Create manual templates, generate with AI, and manage your template library.

What Are Templates?

Templates are pre-written gift messages that can be served to your customers instantly — without using any AI credits. They’re perfect for:

• High-volume stores that want predictable, consistent messages
• Specific occasions where you want curated, on-brand messaging
• Cost savings — templates are always free, no matter your plan

Creating a Manual Template

1. Go to Templates in your Bessanora dashboard
2. Click Create Template
3. Fill in the details:
   • Occasion — Which occasion this template is for (e.g., Birthday)
   • Tone — The tone of the message (e.g., Heartfelt)
   • Relationship — Who the message is for (e.g., Parent)
   • Message — The actual gift message text
4. Click Save

Generating Templates with AI

You can also use AI to generate templates in bulk:

1. Go to Templates → Generate with AI
2. Select the occasion, tone, and relationship
3. Click Generate — the AI will create a unique message
4. Review the message and click Save as Template

Each AI-generated template costs 1 credit. Once saved, the template can be served unlimited times for free.

Bulk Generation

Need many templates at once? Use bulk generation:

1. Go to Templates → Bulk Generate
2. Select multiple combinations of occasion, tone, and relationship
3. Click Generate All
4. Review and save the ones you like

This is a great way to build up your template library quickly.

Editing and Deleting Templates

• Edit: Click on any template to modify its message text, occasion, tone, or relationship
• Delete: Select templates and use the bulk action menu, or delete individually

How Templates Are Served

When a customer requests a message on your store, Bessanora checks for matching templates first:

1. Template match found → A random matching template is served instantly (free)
2. No template match → AI generates a new message (costs 1 credit)

This means you can reduce AI credit usage by creating templates for your most popular occasion/tone/relationship combinations.
